 Launched in 2008 by Steve Thomas and Brenda Suit, Thomas and Suit Homes (T & S Homes, LLC) is a homebuilding company dedicated to building quality homes and providing an extraordinary home buying experience for their buyers. Steve (President) and Brenda (Chief Financial Officer), former executives of a major area builder, have established an outstanding reputation with over thirty years of combined experience in the home building industry. Steve Thomas began his homebuilding career in the early ‘90’s after serving with the St. Charles City Police Department and in the Air National Guard as an F-15 fighter pilot. Prior to forming Thomas and Suit Homes, Steve had full responsibility for his previous company’s Residential Division, including overseeing all sales and production. Steve has always believed that building it right the first time reduces callbacks and leads to a satisfied homeowner.
 Brenda Suit began her career in the homebuilding industry as an accountant for a major builder. She was then promoted to controller, and was subsequently named Chief Financial Officer. She is a member of the City of St. Charles Public Works Board, and holds a Real Estate Broker’s license. Among her many accomplishments, Brenda was selected to receive the prestigious Dove Award for Business Achievement.
Steve and Brenda like to say, “Discover the difference” in our homes. Their goal is not to build the least expensive home in the marketplace, but to offer a home built with companywide features which set a better “standard” in the industry and which provide exceptional value. Little things can make a big difference. For example, T & S homes are built with warranted premium subfloors. They provide drainage systems outside AND inside the foundation. Plumbing stacks in their basements are pulled to outside walls or stairwells. All roofs are installed with ridge venting. They put shutoffs at all sink locations. Plus much, much more! Individually, these may seem like insignificant items, but collectively they will provide years of a more satisfying home owning experience.
The quality and design they put in their homes has been recognized by the homebuilding industry. They are proud to have received the Homebuilder Association of Greater St. Louis “Homer” award for design and the “Professional’s Choice” award for quality construction. The latter award is based on the inspections and opinions of industry professionals such as licensed home inspectors.
Thomas and Suit Homes is currently building in several St. Charles County communities. But, they are more than a subdivision builder. Their Custom Home Division will also build T & S plans or custom plans on buyer’s home sites in St. Charles or St. Louis Counties. Their Remodeling Division can handle anything from a basement or kitchen renovation or remodel to major additions. Their Remodeling Division is also a “Professional’s Choice” award recipient.
